intermittent letter on keyboard

Hi, I picked up a used macbook pro and it has a very intermittent letter, one for sure, and I thought another, is this the sign that it needs a new keyboard or is it possibly something else, any ideas what a new keyboard runs, unit is a 15" 2007 macbook pro, thanks.
