After just one year and just out of waranty our 15"MBP has an issue with the screen going to lines intermittently. If we close the screen and reopen it and put small downward pressure on the screen frame it works again. An apple technician diagnosed it as a screen failure and is blaming it on a very small dent to the screen frame. I dont accept this as the dent happened when the MBP was 1 week old and it then worked perfectly for a full year after that. This is a switching problem that Apple are refusing to fix. Has anyone had similar problems and what was the remedy?
