1 out of every 2 times I hit the power button (it is set to sleep) in vista, my computer never goes to sleep, rather it looks like it just shut down. No blink light nothing forcing me to do a hard boot. This is especially annoying since I'm having connectivity problems...which require a sleep/wake up cycle to fix.

I know this was a problem with EARLY versions of bootcamp but why would it be happening to me (2.1)?

I do notice that when going to sleep the light in the front turns off immediately, unlike staying on in osx till the blinking starts.
