Internal Blu-Ray Writer for Mac Pro 2009

Hi All

Im looking to add an internal Blu-Ray Writer to my 2009 Mac Pro so I can back up my Blu-Ray's and convert them to MKV. I know any SATA drive will work but Im looking for peoples experience of what drive to get. Im looking for the drive with the quickest read speed to make converting Blu-Ray to MKV as quick as possble.

The LG Blu Rays have been known for superior price/performance. I think you will not make a mistake to use their latest. LG BH08LS has 8x burning with Lightscribe.

There is one Sony Optiarc (Sony NEC Optiarc BWU-300S) which writes BD 2L faster but it is very expensive and I don't trust Sony optical drives as much as LG.
