Internal HDD cable - buy online?

I have been stupid and might have broken the internal HDD cable on my MacBook Pro 15'' (earlist version) when changing the HDD to a new and bigger one. Where can I buy a new one online? Is it possible at all or do I have to deliver my Mac to a repair place? Would rather not, as they will take at least 10 days to do it...

eBay seem to have them, not sure would normal SATA cable work
