Hi there!
I've got a spare broken bezel from my pre-unibody MacBook Pro A1226 (A1260 has the same bezel, as far as I know), but the iSight is working perfectly. As far as I know, this is simply a usb device, so the idea is to use a standard usb connector to attach it to other equipment (my old macmini or a usb router - waste no more!)
The iSight board is different from that of MacBook and has a small 7-pin (?) connector with a very fine pitch, so that the flat ribbon cable is snapped directly into that connector (lost the charge from my photo camera, so I can't take a shot). Does anyone know its pinout or any experience of using that camera externally?
