My problem is I can't hear any sounds on my macbook, only if i plug in my earphones. I've never had this problem before today, And I can't find out how to solve this problem.. If I look at the speaker-ikon in the menu is shows disconnected.
By the way it is NOT on mute..
I don't know what is wrong, please help me..

there is a small switch inside the headphone jack, it probably got stuck. so your system thinks it still has headphones plugged in.

try inserting your headphones, and wiggling the plug a bit as you pull it out. I've also read where a matchstick (or something similar sized, but soft so as to not cause damage) can help.

Check also if you now have a red light coming from your earphone socket, sometimes when you withdraw your earphones or jack a bit smart it seems to revert to a digital output and all sound options are freezed. Just pop the earphone plug back in, wiggle and withdraw (I'm keeping a straight face). Light will go out and you should be back to normal.
