This iPhone that I'm posting from is an iPhone 4, US, on AT&T.
The truth is, roaming is a pain in the *** for people who travel. I don't want to pay a huge phone bill.
If I go to, let's say Korea, and put in a KT (iPhone carrier in Korea) microSIM card in, will it work on that network without roaming?

You'd have to get it unlocked first, but assuming you did that a Korean SIM card turns the phone into a local phone on whatever Korean carrier.
