I found this on Gizmodo. I think it is sad that Apple would compromise a new product with a sub standard 3G chip. How much money is Apple making off this phone? So they would rather save a few bucks and risk the satisfaction of millions of its new and existing customers. So what, they can make another billion dollars.

If you look at this video on http://www.tuaw.com/2008/08/12/found-footage-misleading-iphone-ads/ I would not be happy about these results.

So glad I have not yet upgraded to 3g yet.

Hey I have to dispute that video, in Bangor in North Wales and my 3g speed is much faster their "reality' video.

Boy, I read that link 3 times and I couldn't find anything about "sub standad 3G chips."

I saw that people were "looking into" "guesses" about what "might be" wrong.

That's a lot of 'maybes.'

MAYBE the problem is dragonflies, flying around and messing up the signal.

Heck, why not...as long as we're making wild guesses, that is.
