Does the "AppleCare" warrenty work internationally? If not, does it at least work if purchased in the US and used in Canada?

I'm purchasing the iPod in the US, and hoping to get the AppleCare there too. But if that is not possible, I might as well purchase the AppleCare in Canada... (provided it'll work for my US iPod purchase)

Or any clue what I should do?

I just popped over and read a bit on the Apple site, link here. It says:
Peace of mind at home or on the road
With iPod, you can take your entire music collection everywhere you go. But should your iPod need service, the AppleCare Protection Plan gives you the peace of mind of knowing that Apple provides global repair or replacement coverage.
Looks like you're in luck. I'd still call and double check, just to be safe though.
