internet access problem

I recently bought an i phone 4s locked to vodaphone and paid them £19.99 to have it unlocked; i inserted a t mobile sim and can now phone and send texts, but i cant access the internet. In settings, general, network, there is no box for mobile data network. i am wondering if the phone has only been partially unlocked; is this possible

You just have to install the correct carrier config file with the right apn settings for your carrier.
