Hello,

I am a new international student in US from Europe. I am looking to get myself an internet access, and I was wondering it this one is okay?

I mean, I just need a basic internet that doesn't need a phone line. Did I read that right or does this one says is for 1 year and no contract required, I just pay each month $19.95 and that's it?

Do you know btw if there is some better deal? I don't even know where to look since only provider I know is AT&T. :)

What region are u in in the US? fiber optics from verizon or comcast can provide blazing fast speeds

Are you living in a house or a managed building? If a building, ask the management company for the names of ISPs that service your property and then just lookup pricing at either their websites or give them a call.

Doesn't AT&T require a social security number to get service? At least for phone service, they do.

No, actually you can get the services without SSN, you just have to pay $500 deposit.
