Crossposting because I think this might be the correct forum:

I had this problem on Sierra, and I am having it intermittently on High Sierra.

I use Mail and have an Exchange mail account set up in Internet Accounts. I also have iCloud and Google set up normally.
Sometimes, I'll notice the exchange email stops updating, only to realize the Internet Accounts have reverted to a version where the exchange server is Office 365 instead of my current exchange setup (hasn't been Office 365 for over a year) and in addition my facebook and twitter accounts show up as well, but they're deactivated. Google and iCloud do not change. This setup looks like something I would have used late 2015/early 2016. I'll delete everything that was added, re-add my current Exchange mail account, and mind my business only for it return and my mail stop working. Searching for this issues has not been helpful since I cannot find a real solution to people with this problem.

Now, I use iCloud Keychain and figure the fault is there in Internet Account synching since my current MBP never had these internet accounts that keep showing up. BUT. I have installed a fresh version of OS X High Sierra already. I reset my iCloud Keychain to this device's keychain. I changed my Apple ID password. I've restored my iPhone too and started from fresh incase there were rogue entries on the iPhone keychain synching over.

Yet.

These accounts keep coming back randomly to my internet accounts page under preferences and they break my exchange email setup. I do not understand why they do not stay deleted. I have my iPhone and MacBook Pro as the only two devices under iCloud so there is not a rogue device.

For something that just works you'd think deleting the accounts would be the end of it.
If anyone know what is happening or even better the fix, I'll be very grateful!
