I am having problems with internet pages loading up properly. Seems that most of the pages after loading the writing overlaps and pages are all in one row in the middle instead of across the page. I bought an imac from a school sale, and it has os x 1.5, and the internet browser is explorer. Also, I get messages to get java. Should I get another browser? Also, is there any way to get msn hotmail on this machine? Thanks in advance!!

That would 10.5, not 1.5. Explorer (as in Internet Explorer) doesn't run on Mac (except that really old and dead IE5). Can you post a screen shot of the way the pages are showing up? You should also provide more details like version of the browser and the sites it's happening on.

If you're still trying to use IE for Mac, that's probably the problem. It hasn't been supported since 2003.

Try using Safari or download Firefox.

Any Java updates you need for your OS can be obtained by running 'Software Update' from the Apple menu.
