does anyone know a free program that allows u to set the allowable times my children can be on the net, but please only say free ones, and obviously for mac:confused:
 
This won't help you for now, but, when Leopard (OS X 10.5) comes out in October, it has exactly this feature built in.

Depending on your router, you might be able to set times for access to port 80 (the one used by browsers).

ya i know about that one, that controls wen he can use the whole computer ALL together, im talking about just the internet
 
It doesn't sound like that... if it controls access to a port through the router then it should only affect browsing the internet. How would that restrict the whole computer?
