I usually slide a url into a folder so my students can just click and go without typing an address. I recently restored software after a serious freeze. Now I can't get on the internet this way. I get a message " The internet location cannot be opened because there is no application selected for opening this kind of location. Use the internet control panel to select a helper application for opening this kind of location." Can anyone help? I'm using OS 9.2.2 on a slot iMac. Help!!

Those were bookmark files. If they were System bookmarks, then they should work if you have selected a default web browser. If they are application level bookmarks, then you will need the application that created them. It sounds like your are System bookmarks. Make sure that you have a default browser selected.
