I have tried a few tools in the past; LOGMEIN and BTMM, but would like to find a good solid remote desktop solution.
At home I have a Mac Pro, and on the network is a NAS (NV+), with a bunch of shares. I would like access to these shares when I am out-and-about with my MacBook Pro.
I can use Back-to-my-Mac, but then I only have remote desktop and access to the fixed devices on the Mac Pro, not the attached shares.
I can use LOGMEIN, but then I do not get file-transfer or drag-and-drop, because OSX is not supported for this.
Hence, I need another good solution, and one which preferably does not require a bunch of port forwarding etc. to work, but which goes through a "service".
