internet browsers and photos

I've been getting serious with photography lately, and a big way I try and promote myself is online. However, with the way that most browsers deal with photos, they don't support native color profiles (all except for Safari that is). How do you then compensate for this? I want to make sure that when I edit a photo in Photoshop or Aperture that when I upload them to a site they look the exact same way for anyone on the web that the do on my screen.
