Whenever I click a link on a download page for a .bin file in my web browsers(safari, camino, firefox... I've tried them all), it launches the script editor. They will download if I control-click and tell it to "Download Link Target As..." Would anyone know how to fix this or reconfigure my browsers to automatically download them?

Sounds to me like .bin is associated with the wrong application. Download a .bin file (or just fake one by making a text file with the .bin extension), open the file's Get Info pane, and look under Open With. Is Script Editor listed as the default? If it is, change that to Stuffit Expander (or whatever program you use to decode .bin files), then click 'Change All' and confirm that you really want to do this. Hopefully these steps will fix the problem.
