Hi there,

I have recently fired up an old ibook of mine for my daughter to use and although it initially connected to the internet wirelessly .. it now won't.

I have tried using using an internet cable and that worked. My first thought was to check Internet Connect but when I tried to launch it, it wouldn't open. It is in the Applications Folder but it just won't open. I tried adding it to the dock and it won't add .. the dock wont make space for it, like it can't add it.

So then I reinstalled the software that I got with the ibook .. no joy!

So then I ran disk utility and repaired some stuff .. it did mention that it was repairing permissions for Internet Connect and I thought Yay! ... but no luck!

So then I went into Library Preferences looking for my com.apple.internetconnect.plist and it's not there.

Any pearls of wisdom for me please ... my 8 year old is desperate!

Many thanks in advance!
