When I first got my MBP I used a Sierra Wireless USBConnect 881 via at&t. Had the account terminated because I hardly used it. Now when my mac boots I get this error message "Internet Connection", "The selected communication device does not exist. Please verify your settings and try again."

I've tried using network diagnosis which only tells me that my wifi is working properly.

Any suggestions on where to find where this selection is made?

Thank you, Doug

Did you try uninstalling the device?

If you can, open up Network Preferences, and delete the profiles other than the default.

Thanks! System Preferences -> Network -> Mini Card, delete all related info, uncheck box. Problem solved. One more little irritant gone.
