Hi guys

I am desperately seeking for help, as this is the first issue I've got with my macbook since 2 years I have been using it.

Last week I have connected the external drive, which I use just for backups, and time machine have started the backup. After 2 nights and 1 day it didn't do a half (about 800 Gb) and I decided to stop the process. So I cancelled the backup, disconnected the drive, rebooted the macbook, connected the drive again and started the backup again. It ran about 4 hours and everything seemed to be fine.. Unless I opened Safari to surf...

Well, since that time something is wrong and I can't use internet anymore. Neither of Browsers: Safari, FireFox, Chrome is working. I type the site I wanna go, and it just hangs, and nothing happens... Same is for Mail application - it cannot connect to the web. The connection neither via Wi-Fi, nor via LAN is possible. I have one other laptop (Windows) and one iMac in the house, everything works perfectly there.

Unfortunately I don't have any warranty left, the macbook is quite old (about 4 years).

Did someone experienced something similar? Would be very grateful for any hints/advices.
