Internet connection issue

Hey guys,

My MacBook pro has been connecting automatically to my one Internet since I got it over a year ago. However two days ago it stopped connecting to the Internet and in place of the usual connection bars was an exclamation point that said "alert: no Internet connection". This message appeared even after restarting my computer, turning off the airport and reentering my password. I'm getting frustrated please help.

Try removing the network from System Preferences->Network->Wi-Fi->Advanced->Highlight network and hit the little "-" then reconnect.

Thanks but no such luck with that. I reconnected and immediately was met with the same problem as before.

Have you tried unplugging/resetting your modem and wireless router?

if this doesn't work, how about renewing your ip address -
