OK, I finally got a new PC (Vista) that's actually pretty fast and I need this desktop to serve as a wireless access point. I have a PowerBook G4 laptop running Tiger that needs to get it's internet access through an ad-hoc wifi connection to the PC. (The PC connects via ethernet and has a wifi card.) How do I configure this? I've tried enabling ICS and setting up an ad-hoc network but the Mac doesn't see the connection.

Note: Traditional routers and access points don't play nice with the school network here. A computer needs to be the access point with internet connection sharing. If I use the Mac as the access point, Steam and a few other services on the PC don't work. Therefore, the PC must be the access point.
