Hello there Mac forum. i end up at this site all the time when looking for answers so i figured its about time i register. (skip to ** for the actual question
)
so i recently switched from my iBook G4 to a newer Macbook. the G4 only had 512 ram and a 40gb harddrive. my hobbies are making flash cartoons and it was embarassing that i couldnt watch most of them properly on my own computer, so i decided to update. i couldnt be happier with my new laptop. the world seems to run in slow motion around me when im on it, i didnt realize just how fast stuff on the internet was. anyway, 'nuff ramblin.
** whenever i leave my laptop for a short period of time the internet times out. normally this isnt a problem cause, well, im not on it. but when im running certain programs and the internet times out while im gone it can be a bit frustrating. when i was running tiger i know there was an option for the internet to disconnect if inactive for 30 minutes. i feel like this is switched on but dont know where it is on (snow) Leopard.
