hello os 9 people,
i'm having some annoyances with IE contantly crashing in os 9, which leads me to believe something's fouled up somewhere in my system. i've tried trashing the preferences but i'm still having the same issues: IE crashes, finder starts acting weird, finder suddenly quits, i need to restart. (also some other weird things occasionally, such as the start-up chime only playing halfway on reboot then not actually booting up, and - once - my pismo made a loud squeak right before crashing?!?).
i know historically IE is a buggy product for OS 9, but are there any measures people could recommed for troubleshooting it? (yes, i know, switch to another browser, but i actually like IE when it works properly). i'm getting worried that some awful IE crash will totally f**k up my system when applecare is just about to run out...
