How would I be able to get unlimited internet for my laptop in Italy if Im going there for about 2 weeks?

???

stay in a hotel with free wifi ?

stay with friends who have unlimited internet access ?

or do you mean some sort of 3G dongle for the MacBook ?

I am not aware of any unlimited 3G dongles in Italy - they all charge per MB and none of them will be cheap though cheapest bought locally in Italy is likely to be the 3 network...

Euro countries and pretty much any other country than the US charges per MB. My suggestion is to activate international data and tethering. If you don't want to pay the extra fee's for just 2 weeks there hotels offer free data most of the time as long as you don't exceed a certain amount. I'd check up on hotels & internet cafe's before heading over there so you no where to go. Otherwise steal a neighboring buildings connection. I don't recommend that though.
