where can i get operating information for using my old ibook in ,my old pkup for surfing? i`m ok with my hp/xp. i never got the hang necessary for surfing or email with my ibook. i bought it new around 2001 to use with a powerpoint presentation on electric fundamentals. i`m wondering if it is worth it to learn the operation of ibook powerG3. jfl

Internet/Email in OS X is virtually identical as XP, especially if you're using FireFox and webmail clients.
As far as getting an internet signal to your g3 iBook, you'll need a USB cellular internet dongle, the appropriate software that comes with the dongle, but you may need to upgrade to OS 10.4, as many peripherals require that as the minimum spec.
