My brother came over with a Mac book Air thin laptop. And he said the its a friends laptop and she can not get online with it. She has a pc with windows on at home with a wireless router. I just turned on the laptop and the first it does a window popped up and it detected my wireless router. And i click join, i tried to go online but nothing. I let the laptop do a network diagnostics and it automatically detected my wireless router. i tired the browser and i just clicked on software update and it say's" A network error has occurred timed out (- 1001) make sure you can connect to the internet" I need help thanks! P.S. she paid $2,500 for it and it does not came with a built in cd drive.
