Internet not connecting When Restoring iphone 5 to a IP4s backup from itunes

Hello, anyone else have this problem, I got my IP5 and activated, the restored via itunes to my most recent backup of my IP4S, all was well till I tried to connet to internet without wifi, and it kept giving error message “you are not subscribed to a cellular dta plan”. Called Verizon to troubleshoot, all was OK at their end. After restoring phone to factory settings, phone works fine, but as soon as I had restored to the IP4S backup again, same problem started. So, basically, I had to restore to factory settings again and setup as new. Only thing is, I don’t have my old texts anymore.
