Hi,
I have a late 2012 iMac running the latest version of the OS (10.11.3).
I have a strange issue with my internet: lately (has been happening for months but seems much more common now), my internet does not respond immediately. I request a webpage but the browser window remains blank and my modem light indicates that there is no data being sent/received. Usually a few seconds later (say 3-10 seconds) the modem light will start flashing and the webpage will load. Occasionally the webpage will not load at all and I have to request the webpage again.
The problem does not seem to be browser specific as it occurs with both Firefox and Safari.
I thought the DNS cache might have been corrupted (just a wild guess on my part) but clearing that did not help.
Please help. This is driving me crazy.
