hi guys. i have a big problem with snow leopard.
so .. at my university i have a pppoe connection that worked fine under 10.5.8 os x leopard. i bought snow leopard from a local reseller and installed it (clean install). the pppoe connects, but i cant load any page (actually, i can only load www.google.ro). the thing is that when i run windows (on a virtual machine) i can access the internet just fine. i tried adding a new location, but no good. i tried deleting the files in library/preferences/systemconfiguration/ and reboot, but still no good.
can you please help me?
also, i've noticed this: in the first image is a screenshot of network utility in 10.5.8. you can see that en0 is ethernet, but when in 10.6 (second image), my ethernet interface is called "airport en1" even though airport is not on.
