Internet on an unlocked iPhone?

I want to get an iPhone but I dont want to switch to AT&T. Is there any way I can use the Internet on an unlocked iPhone? I have a T- Mobile Data plan. iPhone 3 & above. Thanks.

iphone will be available on verizon soon. otherwise only other option is for tmobile but it's edge data only

you can Unlock the iPhone for T-Mobile but you can't use 3G Data services so your stuck with slow edge

If internet is a major factor for you buying an iPhone Go to a Carrier that can give you full 3G service, AT&T and Verizon

I'm using my iPhone 4 on T-Mobile's edge. $10 for the 200mb data plan. Heck, its pretty slow but no biggie for me.

saving $5 wouldn't be worth it to me but to each their own

I have a $19.99 data plan, i really dont care about 3G or if its super fast. Just want to know and care about if I can access the internet to do basic stuff, not be stuck with an iPhone I can only use for calling amd texting.
