iPod touch Internet on iPod slower than macbook?

Hi, here is something I noticed tonight, the speedtest app on my ipod touch give me a DL speed of 3-5 mbps and .6 UL speed...

But on my macbook the speedtest give me this result http://www.speedtest.net/result/960225815.png sometimes it goes up to 30 mbps, but I have no idea why the ipod only marks 3 to 5 mbps

I have configured my internet like this: ethernet > macbook > airport > ipod touch

How can I get my 20mbps on my ipod touch?

Likely because you have a wired connection to your computer. That is almost always faster

I know the iPhobe is capped at about 12mbps and I can't imagine the iPod Touch being capable of handling speeds any faster than that.

Yup, although I don't know what the maximum spee that the iPod Touch is capable of going to. I'd imagine it being at around eight?

Try another server on Speedtest.net. I live in Edmonton so I tried the Edmonton server and only got around 3-4mbps, but I tried the Burnaby server and got the full speed(15mbps). So the speed test isn't all that accurate.

iPod Touch 4, I have tried other servers but cant get more than 7 mbps I will keep trying
