Hello all,

Ive just bought a macbook and would like to know if i can connect my cable broadband to it so i can get the internet on it,i havent got a router yet you see.

Any help would be much appreciated

If its an Ethernet cable just plug it in and see what happens. Thats all i had to do with mine. :cool:
 
No its a usb because it runs into my PC,i think someone said i couldny use usb for some reason or another
 
USB internet connect was not supported with the ibooks and I'm not sure about the macbooks....I would suggest you run out and get yourself a cat5(ethernet) cable. Look on your modem and tell me what all ports do you have there...ethernet port should be there...it looks like a phone port but bigger.
