Internet on Vista?

Hey guys I googled and searched in here but no luck.

I just upgraded my Windows XP to Windows Vista and for some reason the internet is not working.

I tried to get it through airport but the operating system thinks I need to have a device plugged into it to receive a signal and I tried wired Ethernet but still no luck.

Any ideas?

Edit: Thought I should note that I am using Parallels.
