Internet Problems

Hi I am in Australia and I am using a Macbook 10.5 Leopard wirelessly but all of a suudden it keeps disconnecting but if I turn the Airport off and on again it will reconnect to the Internet but then after a few minutes it will disconnect again. So if I want to use the Internet I have to keep turning the Airport on and off again every few minutes which becomes very annoying. Please Help

PS I have had it for 3 years now and no problems until now. The wireless modem is fine.
