Internet Recovery does not detect my new SSD

During my the mountain lion select your partition or something no drive was found! And I am freaked out. During the installation of my SSD upon disconnecting the cable thing from the HDD I sort of bent the film strip could that be the reason why? And after that I unbent it

Put the old drive back in and see if it detects it. If not, could be the cable.

"Sort of bent" is vague. Did you fold it over or just flex it? It can handle some movement.

You have to format/partition it with Disk Utility before it's visible to the installer. Did you do that first?

^ this.... Make sure you check disk utility and format the drive. If it doesn't show up in disk utility then reinstall the old HDD to troubleshoot.
