Internet Recovery not working

I bought a 13 inch macbook pro from a friend and i want to reset it. i erased mac hd instead. now i started internet recovery and its been hours but still all i can see is the revolving globe icon on the screen. What should i do? Please help me. Thanks..

Try plugging it into Ethernet, see if that helps. Or take it to an Apple Store.

Thanks! But we dont have Apple center here. Im using pocket myfi and it seems ineffective because supposedly it blinks when a device uses it. Need to look for someone who has ethernet.

Try opening up the wifi (no password) on the myfi temporarily and see if that works. Internet recovery has trouble sometimes with certain types of wifi password schemes.
