I'm running into an odd issue when using Internet Sharing to share a wireless network received by an iMac to a Mac Pro via Ethernet. When the computers are first booted, the Mac Pro doesn't get any connectivity - I have to log in to an admin account, disable (uncheck), and then re-enable Internet Sharing, at which point it will work OK until the iMac is shut down again. Rebooting doesn't seem to cause problems.
Anyone know what's up? It's a real pain. I've tried this with two separate iMacs and both behaved the same way. All computers involved are running 10.5, though I ought to try the other iMac again - the one most recently being used has had trouble successfully installing software updates, but that's another issue... (It downloads, logs out, shows the progress dialog, and just sits there at the preparing stage. Disk has been verified and permissions have been repaired.)
So, I suppose any help with either of these issues would be appreciated.
