I had this working before, and I can't for the life of me remember how, or find anywhere with good instructions on how to do this.
Basically, my Macbook is connected to the internet via WiFi. How do I share this connection, using an ethernet cable between the MacBook and the Windows (Vista) PC? I've turned on Internet Sharing and left all the settings as default. The PC finds the network but says "Unidentified network. Access: Local Only". I've tried looking around the Windows settings, but, being Windows, they make no sense.
Any help is appreciated; I want to play my old Steam games on my old, dusty PC!
EDIT: Problem solved, I'm an idiot. Had it set to share via firewire in the sharing settings...
