Hi Everyone,
I have a question involving sharing my iPhone's 4G connection to my MacBook and then in turn to my PS3.
As I currently have no home broadband service and for the time being and free data (thanks Vodafone!) with a full 4G signal - I use the personal hotspot function to share the connection to my MacBook (running 10.9.2) via USB, and then in turn use the internet sharing function to share that connection to: my iPad, my girlfriend's iPhone and her MacBook.
I would like also to share the connection over wifi to my PS3, although I have not been able to find a successful way to do so.
However, my PS3 will connect to my iPhone if I enable my personal hotspot with wifi, and directly connect the two together. So I can assume it must be possible in some way?
The main reason I would like the above method to work however is purely for ease and simplification, and means everything would be connecting to one place, my MacBook, which is virtually always on and very much plugged in and in one place - unlike my phone...
If anyone has any ideas it'd be greatly appreciated.
Thanks,
Ollie
