ok so i just bought a new xbox 360 slim with built in wifi.
i have an imac running snow leopard with internet sharing enabled to connect my ipod touch.

the set up is
modem---->ethernet to imac---->built in airport to ipod touch

it works fine
so i tried to connect my xbox 360 to built in airport signal, the xbox detects the wifi how ever will not connect to it through automatic settings

i've been through forums and followed them to no avail

any walk throughs would be extremely helpful as i am a noob

I would recommend posting in the correct section as this this nothing to do with the iMac in particular.

this appears to be an issue with the xbox and not with the imac since the ipod touch works with the airport (wireless) sharing.

try to change the settings by going to System Preferences > Sharing > Airport Options. disable any password you may have and see if the xbox can connect at that time.
