Recently my MBP has been very slow on the internet. I get speed tests of just 500k download when it should be 10meg. I also noticed that my airport card gets between 130 and 140 degrees, which seems hot.

Whats the problem?

130 and 140 what?
Plug your MBP into your Internet router directly via a wired connection and see if that changes things, if so the problem is something local to your setup. But when you have problems with an "internet slowdown" you should normally suspect the Internet connection or the ISP rather than anything local - unless something local has just changed of course.

ethernet works fine. something must be wrong with the wireless card. Does anyone know what the normal temperatures are for operating?
