Internet slow on imac

I bought an imac a couple of weeks ago and I've found that the internet is a bit slow on it. Also have probs at time with FF and Safari and loading pages properly. Funny thing is mail and MSN are fine

You could try resetting safari and/or FF.
And a reboot could help as well.

Also, are you running off WiFi?

I've reset my router and both Safari and FF. Not sure what the problem is. It's like it gets stuck on the ads? I notice they load in the bottom for awhile
