I don't think this is a Mac-specific problem I'm having, but I definitely need some help/tips.

For the past couple of days, I have noticed a major slowdown in browsing. Some sites take *minutes* to fully load. Sometimes it loses connection to web-app type websites such as Google Reader. What's really odd is that when I go to sites to check my download speed, I get average numbers (around 3 MBs). But the browsing is significantly slower than usual. Also, I have a Mac and a Windows PC, and both are experiencing the same problem.

Stuff I've tried:
-Called my ISP (Comcast) - they said everything looks fine. They had me do a speed test, and I got the normal result, as I said above. They basically just told me to clear my cache and good luck.

-Cleared my cache(s)

-Restarted my cable modem and router

-Checked my Netgear router to make sure its firmware was up-to-date. It was.

-I also plugged directly into the cable modem to rule out the router as the problem. It didn't seem to help.

-I'm already using OpenDNS. I tried disabling that and switching to DNS servers provided by my ISP, but it didn't help. I'm now back on OpenDNS.

None of this has helped me at all, and I don't really know what else to do. Also, I just did an UPload test at testmy.net and I scored a pathetic 12 Kbps (it says the average for Comcast is 890). Could this upload thing be the source of my problems? Any other ideas?
