I'm struggling a bit with my iphone 4 and I was wondering if anyone had heard of this problem before. I have searched through google but can't seem to find anyone with a similar problem.
Iphone 4 is now 10 months old, I have an unlimited data package with no fair usage policy that has consistently given me a download speed of 350 KB/s since I bought it. I use it in work tethered to my macbook pro for internet access and downloading files.
About two weeks ago I noticed that my internet connection was very slow, I thought it might be a network problem and hoped it would sort itself out but since then my internet speed does not go above 40KB/s. I downloaded an app to test the speed of the phone without it being tethered to the computer and it shows exactly the same results.
Sometimes my 3G symbol disappears and I have an 'o' in it's place, the only way to get this to change is to restart the phone. The speed problem is on the 3G network though.
Network provider says there are no issues at their end, I have done a full factory restore, upgraded to newest firmware, and they also suggested taking out sim, cleaning sim, rebooting phone and replacing sim. Nothing has solved this problem.
I also notice that from time to time my phone button is unresponsive, though this is very intermittent.
Any help would be much appreciated.
