Being new to Mac.. I'm not sure if this is what happens when.... I dunno??

Sometimes when I click on something.. nothing happens.. and so I automatically wonder if perhaps when I clicked on it, I missed, and so I try again.. still nothing.. so I double click.. nothing..

It's happened a few times.. and now I realize that.. it is just simply stalling, not even seeming to try to load the page.. because I have realized that when it's loading, the address bar will turn blue with its progress ??

So.. when it sits there and does absolutely nothing.. say just for a few seconds.. what is that? Is it my lovely Rogers cable connection? My router? My machine? My wireless? Is there a way to tell what is happening?

Thanks

Could you provide us more information, please?

What Mac OS X version and Mac do you use,
what browser (version) do you use,
have you tried other browsers
or resetting your browser,
what exact modem do you have?

Have you tried www.speedtest.net (NOT .com) yet to see what speeds and ping you have?
