Recently, every time I am online I can surf the web at very high speeds and then my computer will just STOP sending and receiving data from the web and I have to restart the computer to fix the issue.
I know the issue resides within my computer because I'd been having the issue for quite a while, previously blaming my router or modem, but I have now moved into a new home with a new modem, new router, new ISP even and I still have the same issue. All other computers on the network connect and run flawlessly on the web.
The only thing I've really tried is going into the Network Advanced Settings and renewing the DHCP license, but that does nothing for me.
I am running the most up-to-date version of Snow Leopard on a 2 year old 24" iMac
Does anyone have any insight into this issue?
