I use a macbook pro late 2008 so it's not the best but I had been streaming skygo via silverlight and various other sites via flashplayer for a long while and been very quiet. When I first installed el capitan i'm sure it was fine too, but this last week it's just been so loud with fans constantly booting up. I remember having this issue before under a previous osx a couple of years back. I really hate it as it's so loud. Silverlight is showing 70%-80% CPU usage and firefox 40%. It's just too loud to enjoyably watch anything when it used to be just fine. What happened?

Silverlight stopped for Mac a while ago! It's a no-go for 10.11 onward! Plus with HTML5 video now you don't need Flash because it is the most hacked plugin in History of the Internet!
